Floor Sanding Equipment

Having been in the floor sanding industry for over 15 years, we’ve done our homework. A folded piece of sandpaper just doesn’t quite cut it. Over time, we have tried and tested a vast array of sanding equipment. High quality sanding belts, drums, buffers and polishers can make a real difference to your floor finish. We work with equipment that is efficient and ergonomic with no expense spared.

Using the best machine for your floor creates scratch free, smooth and even finishes. The right tool saves time, minimises mess and means we can work in a safer environment. We work with sanding equipment that is strong enough to deal with floors even in the worst condition.

Sanding hardwood floor is not easy but having top of the range, high quality sanding equipment makes all the difference. With the Bosch GAS 55 M AFC, we can create a completely dust free environment – you don’t even need to seal off connecting rooms or cover bookshelves! The Lagler Hummel allows us to work in both small and large areas, and even critical areas like mosaic inlays and soft wood. Using our Bona 1.9 Flexisand, we can sand in all directions and use it on the toughest of jobs such as concrete areas. The Bona XL Edge is the perfect wood floor edge sander whilst the Festool Rotex 150mm is brilliant for coarse sanding, fine sanding and polishing. Last but certainly not least is the Fein Cordless Multimaster. A brilliant little multitool that we use for repairs and all the little areas we can’t get to with the big machines.

Bosch Extractor

The Bosch GAS 55 M AFC Professional with automatic filter cleaning is Bosch’s corded versatile M-class dust extractor. Featuring automatic filter cleaning technology which ensures consistent and powerful suction for rapid work progress.

Certified as an M-class dust extractor in accordance to EU standards. Extremely powerful 1,380 W suction turbine, providing 254 mbars of very high vacuum pressure for the best extraction results.

Lagler Hummel

We’ve owned many belt and drum sanders while working in the floor sanding industry but none compare to the Lagler Hummel! Boasting a huge 2.2 K.W motor and a sanding speed of 2400 rpm, the Hummel gets our vote every time.

Sanding with this machine feels more like a pleasure than a chore. With it’s adjustable sanding pressure, the Hummel is tough enough for floors of the poorest condition, yet can be set delicate enough to leave a super finish. Best of all, it has exceptional dust extraction!

Bona Flexisand

Where do we begin with this incredible piece of kit!?

Another big investment for the company but I must say I’ve used many floor buffers in my time but none compare to this machine, it really is worlds apart. The Flexisand uses an impressive 1.9 K.W motor, combined with the 4-D multi head plate and additional weights, it leaves a finish like no other.

Another great feature of this machine is it’s versatility, not only can it sand certain floors from start to finish, it can also buff between coats and apply Oil -fantastic!

Bona XL Edge

The Bona XL Edge, as you’d expect, is another fantastic product from the Bona range.

As with most of the machinery in floor sanding, we’ve tried and tested the majority and for us the Bona XL Edge has the ‘Edge’ on the competition. An incredibly powerful little machine, with built in lights, adjustable wheels and great dust extraction.

Gap Filling Services - Restore Floor Sanders

Festool Rotex 150mm

Where would any floor sander be without a Festool Rotex? Used to blend in the marks left behind from the edge sander, leaving a scratch free and even finish throughout.

Another powerful machine indeed, with the option of hard sanding and orbital sanding at the flick of a switch. It also has brilliant dust extraction too when used in conjunction with our Festool Midi vacuum.

Fein Multimaster

What an awesome little tool this is! The Fein Multimaster is a super little machine. It can be used for various tasks however we mostly use the Fein when carrying out Floorboard repairs and sanding corners and hard to reach areas.

Projects with lots of corners take half the time using the Multimaster and as for cutting boards, no longer a chore.
